Horizon Adventure 3 Overview

This treadmill is a great purchase for everybody who enjoys walking on the treadmill. Built more for lighter workouts, the Adventure 3 features a 2.5 horsepower motor, advanced cushioning, and a FeatherLight folding design. Built with walkers in mind, this is an excellent treadmill for its price, selling for around $900. If you’re looking for a good treadmill at a great price, this is an excellent option for you.

Ergonomics

The Horizon Adventure 3 has three levels of cushioning so you can set them to your comfort preferences. It also a standard-sized track that can easily be folded up when not in use. When people are walking, their main concern is that their joints will be sore afterward. Walking puts more strain on your body than most people realize, but with this treadmill, you won’t have to worry about that. Of course, you can also run on this treadmill, and even while running, the three levels of variable cushioning ensure a comfortable and safe workout.

Display and Digital Features

Unfortunately, the digital display and digital features of this treadmill are not very impressive. The 5.75” LCD screen shows all of the standard information, including time, distance, calories, speed, incline, and heart rate. Unlike other systems, this treadmill does not offer wireless heart rate tracking. It does, however, have a tablet holder and an iPod-, MP3- and phone-compatible sound system. It can also send your workout data to a ViaFit mobile app so you can track your goals and progress.

Motor

2.5 CHP

TThe 2.5 CHP motor is built more for walkers, but it also holds up fairly well when put under constant stress from frequent running. It performs best, however, when it is used for walking. This treadmill is a great buy for people who are running casually or infrequently. If you are a beginning runner who is looking to buy an affordable treadmill to suit your needs, this is a great value for you.
